I guess foremost, I’m a human. Not a particularly big or special one. Just a human trying her best to exist in a way that’s mildly enjoyable. Most times I greatly enjoy existing; but sometimes–like any other human, it’s a bit challenging. Doing things that make me happy or feel fulfilled helps make existence pretty neat. I personally like putting stuff on my face in a way that makes it look whimsical, more structured, less structured, more colorful or all of the above. I also like putting colored stuff on canvas and mixing foodstuffs together in tasty fashions.
Having creative and fulfilling outlets like makeup, art and cooking help remind me, and I’m sure others, life is not just working to pay bills until you die (I really promise this blog is not some emo-deep melancholy dribble about the drudgery of life). In this space, I’m sharing how I put stuff on my face, the stuff I like to put on my face, and perhaps other things related to the application of stuff on your face.
As noted above: I’m a human. I have wrinkles and zits and dry skin. Every month the horseman of pestilence possesses my chin, making it a tiny cesspool of awful. I bloat like a corpse in the sun around this time too. What I’m trying to say is the photographs I post are usually me on my absolute best days in the best light and with makeup applied in a way that accentuates the facial features I like and diminishes those I don’t like.
My hope is that anyone who happens upon this one of millions of beauty posts comes away with, if nothing else, a chuckle. Maybe a couple of tips, or ideas on new products.
